manufacturer: Lava Manufacturing Corporation first production: 60s comments: The Aristocrat model which you see here is especially interesting because the base and cap are painted with a popular paint technique from the 1960s: squiggle! Isn't this beautiful! The black/gold squiggle shown here is much, much more rare than the white/gold squiggle, and therefore much more desirable. But if you ask me (and I know you would), it's better looking too. I've been told (thanks Jonas Goo) that there's a black/black squiggle Aristocat too. That's right, black on black, so you just get the squiggle texture - cool. |
